Dog haircuts? Commies & Nazi's? ..man does the BOT have some MiG's and Panzer divsions stashed somewhere? Man, ifso I'm gonna have to reconsider my over throw plans <chuckle> ...and does that mean we'll all have to re-sched our liposuction & bikini waxes also ? ... (you did make your point along w/a few chuckles)

"why not send out a poll"
Because there will always be one whiner who doesn't like that weekend, maybe
because his poodle, "Tootsie" is scheduled for her annual haircut and
perfume application....or perhaps there's a big sale on that weekend at the
local Walmart.
The BOT must look at what's best for the majority not the vocal minority.
And to those of you who wish to "diss" tradition: your choice and opinion.
But there are a few of us (besides the Fiddler on the Roof) who see value in
tradition. Tradition (and AL Klee's bylaws) have kept this organization
together over 40+years, just like it has the USA. Tradition kept the people
in my grandfathers country together until they could overthrow the Nazis and
then the Stalinists. Tradition has a place and a value to me, and I think
lots of others.

There is so much talk about when to hold the convention and not everyone
agree. Then to find out when it would be the most convenient to the majority
of people?
